With the AGM completed, the committee will now focus on setting in place the ground work for another Summer season of baseball. To do this, we must focus on the following and any help from members will be greatly appreciated, no matter how small.

Goal for summer 2013

Maintain our focus on providing a pathway for all players of all ages to improve his or her baseball or softball standard and allow them to achieve their highest level of success possible


  • Improve the coaching of juniors – Bill Patterson appointed ‘Coach of the Juniors’
  • Improve the coaching of the coaches – Carl Matthews appointed ‘Coach of the Coaches’
  • Re-instate our gala days – organised by Gary Bazzana and run by an ‘on the day’ management team (to be selected)

Key Items for 2013

  • Focus on increasing our sponsorship and alternative revenue bases – (to be appointed)
  • Arrange the Grand opening season weekend on Oct 19th& 20th – Chris Rainnie
  • Manage the 35th anniversary event at season opening – (to be appointed)
  • Manage the Blue sox event – NOW October 20th (to be appointed)
  • Repair the batting tunnels ready for the season start – expenditure approved by committee
  • Clean out the change rooms – Mark Radovic
  • Clean out and re model the clubhouse – Chris Rainnie
  • Increase our membership of juniors by 120 players, targeting Aussie Tball and U8 & U9 – (to be appointed)
