Stealers alumnus Travis Bazzana has made the cut for the American League All-Star team, adding to his growing list of amazing achievements since launching his professional baseball career as the 2024 first round draft pick.
Bazzana is the fourth Australian-born player ever to be named an All-Star, joining relievers Grant Balfour (2013) and Liam Hendricks (2019, 2021 and 2022), and outfielder Dave Nilsson (1999). He is one of only four rookies called up to the All-Stars this year, alongside his teammate Parker Messick.
Having played fewer than 60 games in the Majors, Travis lays claim to an impressive OPS of .757 with 7 home runs and 27 RBIs, as well as 12 stolen bases and an OBP of .343.
The 96th MLB All-Star Game will be held on 14 July 2026 at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, hosted by the Philadelphia Phillies to celebrate the 250th anniversary of American independence. [1, 2, 3] You can watch the MLB All-Star game on Foxtel, Kayo, Disney+ or MLB.TV.
