2021 Stealers Annual General Meeting is Proceeding
Despite the current lockdown imposed on Greater Sydney due to the recent COVID outbreaks, the Ku-ring-gai Stealers Baseball and Softball Club Inc. AGM for 2021 will be proceeding as previously notified, on Wednesday the 21st July 2021 at 7pm. As we are prevented from having an ‘in person’ meeting, the AGM will now be held as an online meeting as allowed for under the NSW Fair Trading COVID provisions.

Note: if you have already RSVP’d to attend in person then you do not need to RSVP again, it is assumed you will be attending via the online meeting.
We are currently in the process of setting up a Microsoft Teams online meeting for the AGM. All Members who have RSVP’d will be sent a link by 9pm Monday 19th July 2021. If you have RSVP’d and have not received your link by this time, then please email secretary@stealers.com.au so that these details can be forwarded to you.
The Microsoft Teams meeting can be accessed online via your browser, however, we recommend that if you have not used Microsoft Teams before on the device you will be using, that you allow yourself plenty of time to log into the meeting to rectify any technology issues that may arise with your device.

The Committee is pleased to invite you to the Ku-ring-gai Stealers Baseball and Softball Club Inc. AGM for 2021. The AGM will be held on Wednesday the 21st July 2021, 7:00pm at the Stealers Clubhouse, Golden Jubilee Park, Esk Street, North Wahroonga, New South Wales, 2076.
Due to COVID restrictions we require that all members RSVP using the online link by 6pm Sunday 18th July 2021:

We are currently monitoring the COVID restrictions which will dictate how many members we can accommodate in the Clubhouse. If we have more members attending than we have capacity for or if restrictions will not allow us to meet at the Clubhouse, we will look at setting up an online video conference to allow the meeting to proceed. In this case we will send out the meeting link to the email address given in the online RSVP form.

If you wish to nominate to be on the Committee, this can be done from the floor of the meeting or via this online form:

If you know you cannot attend the meeting but still wish to nominate to be on the Committee then please submit the online form, print it out and sign (along with your nominator and seconder) and scan & email to secretary@stealers.com.au by 7pm Tuesday the 20th July 2021.
Special Resolution to approve a new Constitution
The Committee is pleased to present to the members a new Constitution to be adopted by Special Resolution at the AGM. The current constitution that governs the operation of Stealers has been in place since the Club’s incorporation over twenty years ago and has not been updated to reflect our new Club name, changes in the NSW Government Act governing Clubs and the current needs of the Club to govern itself. The Committee recommends the adoption of this updated Constitution to better serve the Club’s needs.
