Ku-Ring-Gai Stealers (Stealers) had a Five Year Strategic Plan 2003-2008 which was designed to strengthen and invigorate the club’s position as the premier baseball club within our district in Sydney, NSW, Australia.
The Strategic Plan was established with an aim to achieve clearly defined objectives and realistic performance indicators for Stealers and the sport in which we participate.
Key functions of the Plan include:
- Indicating the plans and directions of the club to its members
- Identifying critical paths that are essential to the operation of Stealers such as:
- Increased effectiveness of management
- Enhanced awareness of what services Stealers provides
- Ensure access to information and communication for all interested parties
- Increase the number of qualified team officials (coaches, umpires and scorers)
- Increase the number of participants (tee-ball, junior, youth and senior)
- Facilitate awareness of and access to training and development for players, team officials and parents
- To hold viable and successful events/competitions.
- Clearly defined key objectives / strategies and performance indicators against which the club management will report to the Stealers Club and its members.
